Not quite a hundred yet but while on the plane, I churned out more than 60 ... I think you can probably detect Mummy's inputs in the list.
100 Ways to Survive in a City
1). Have an income
2). Have a roof over head
3). Have heating (in countries with cold weather)
4) have a few very close friends
5) have a favourite pub/cafe/place to relax
6) have a hobby / interest / cause
7) keep healthy and have access to healthcare
8) have a goal or purpose for life - try to break these down into longterm, midterm and NOW
9) set short-term goals, some of which should be relatively easy to achieve
10). Take an interest in human interactions in densely populated spaces
11). Have an enjoyable exercise regime
12) treat yourself in small ways when you attain a goal
13) read
14) journal or write
15) lifelong learning - take a course, learn another language, pick up a new skill ... never stop
16). Be connected
17) enjoy exploring the city
18) socialise (selectively, in moderation), networking ... Expand your network to circles beyond your field or discipline

20) leave the city once or twice a year for short intervals
